Inês + James Bennett

Portuguese born then raised in the back streets of the Inner West, music schooled Inês in a unique way – sucking all the knowledge from rapper ex-boyfriends and insomnia fuelled ‘Rage’ marathons.

Inês’ own offerings are hard to place firmly in one genre, though she has been compared to the rumbling soul melodies and diary like lyrics of Amy Winehouse and Erykah Badu, peppered with hints of Nina Simone & Prince.

Supporting is James Bennett, who's music is best described as rootsy/ folk with influences such as Bob Dylan, John Butler, Angus Stone & Xavier Rudd.

His stunning vocals are backed up by his 6 string Guitar, 12 string Guitar, Weissenborn Lap Steel, Harmonicas and Stomp Box - this guy is a man on the rise so not to be missed...
