Dale Randolph and Yannick Slade have spent the last few years developing their own separate musical careers, but whenever their busy schedules allow delight in getting together to put on a show like the one coming up at Leadbelly.
Before his current solo project, Dale released two albums of rip-roaring rock with Sydney outfit Jake Monkey. While achieving a degree of YouTube popularity, Dale has spent the past couple of years honing his production skills and has released three soul-infused singles with more soon to come.
On the other side of the world in Paris, Yannick Slade began playing with an acoustic guitar and a harmonica in any French bar that would have him. He self-released an LP as part of the duo 'Farhana and Yannick'. He has since released two self-produced and released Ep’s and fills in on guitar in the various bands of fellow Australian exile, and Sydney treasure, Nathan Roche.
How did they form their strong collaborative synergy? Dale moved to Paris and joined Yannick in the groove corner he had installed in his tiny Parisian apartment and took the concert scene by storm.
Sydney, get ready for a homecoming to blow your thongs off.
