Sydney’s KING TIDE hit hard this month with the second single from their highly anticipated upcoming new album, and it's very different from anything they have done before…

When asked about the new sound, singer TONY HUGHES says: 'Well, it's been six years since we released a new album, and in that six years we haven't been sitting in the one spot. We scrapped a lot of songs and started again. Our mantra was. 'We can't allow our selves to make the same record again’. Quite possibly we will ostracise our rock steady reggae fan base, but I don't think so. We have never ever really been train spotters .We have always fed our music through a blender of many colours. And Golden Crown is our latest trip. Drop a half for a laugh. ‘Golden Crown’ is a little bit of Mad Chester and a whole lot of King St Newtown....Welcome to our future."
