CLAUDIO (aka Rachel Claudio) + Nick Kingswell

CLAUDIO is Paris-based composer, producer and vocalist whose hometown is our very own Perth, Western Australia.  Erik Rico (producer/writer for 2Pac, Jurassic 5 and Q-Tip) says of her :   "She's one of the best of the best - a throwback to the future."

She has collaborated with King Britt (Sylk130, Digable Planets) Neal Evans (Soulive), Brian Jackson (Gil Scott Heron's mythic co-collaborator), Steve McKie (Bilal, Kindred the Family Soul, Jill Scott), opened for The Roots & spilt drinks on Bilal.

It is her solo work as an electronic artist, however, that has gained her the most notoriety - creating & producing lush and often entirely orchestrated tracks in real-time. (Notably her interpretation of the track Hey Ya, which surpassed 2 million views as an impressive showcase of artistic, musical and technical skill, using just keyboard, voice, APC and Push.) CLAUDIO has moved people all over the planet with her very unique brand of tailored-for-the-moment cinematic hip-pop.
