To celebrate Mother Hen Touring’s 5th birthday Ramblin’ Nights have put together a reunion of one of her favorite memories. Back in 2016 at the esteemed Dashville Skyline Festival these 3 bands played mind blowing sets, danced, drank and forged great friendships. So put on your dancing shoes, your party hats, and join us for this very special "Americana Soiree" San Francisco based raucous string band The Brothers Comatose will be heading back to Australian shores following up their 2016 tour, where they had Aussie audiences dancing and singing along at every show. This time they bring their foot stomping live show in support of a new EP, The Covers EP: Volume 2 featuring a genre hopping mix of rock, pop and country.
Ramblin’ Nights are delighted to have the lads back to continue the party they started over a year ago with their take on bluegrass country rock. Joining them for the night is Sydney’s Andy Golledge Band. Andy has the gift and skills of a classic songwriter. A true lyricist that wears his heart on his sleeve, together with his band (some of the finest Australian talent) Golledge presents us with his own personal brand of Americana.
Magpie Diaries is the dreamy Americana-folk musings of singer-songwriter and Dashville mastermind Matt Johnston. Well before he started chipping away building boutique festivals on his family's picturesque Lower Belford property such as the beloved Gum Ball, PigSty in July, Dashville Skyline and Thrashville, the man known as "Magpie" has been penning songs. Authentic, wrenching, acoustic based, with a candid simplistic storytelling approach. Magpie's songs capture shared elements of his life growing up in the bush at Dashville and his time travelling about the wide world, the relationships formed, the experiences in between.
